APPLY FOR A GRANT

Here's how to do it!

The Corte Madera Community Foundation encourages local Corte Madera organizations to submit grant requests for projects, programs, events, and services that are consistent with our mission of improving the quality of life in Corte Madera, building community spirit, and enhancing Corte Madera’s small-town character.  Our grants typically range from $500 to $3,000.

We conduct two grant cycles each year - one in the spring and one in the fall.

  • Applications for spring grants are due by April 1.

  • Applications for fall grants are due by September 1.

  • Applicants should expect to receive a response within 60 days of the application deadline for the relevant project grant cycle.  We may request additional information about your request.

Grant Criteria
  • We consider grant applications that directly benefit the Corte Madera community and are consistent with our Mission Statement and our Bylaws.

  • We favor grant applications that will benefit a larger portion of the Corte Madera community over those that benefit a smaller portion of the community.

  • We may consider ad hoc grant requests outside our twice-yearly grant cycles in extraordinary circumstances when the need for the grant did not arise until after the relevant deadline for grant submission.

  • We do not consider grant applications from individuals for personal needs.

Please contact us by email at info@cortemaderacommunityfoundation.org with questions about our project grant criteria or procedures.
